Crystal Knuckles

Manager

I was born and raised in Liberia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette E. Knuckles I. I completed my secondary and high school education at St. Peter’s High School in Sinkor, 14th Street, Liberia, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the African Methodist Episcopal University.

My professional journey began at Total Liberia Inc. (now CONEX), where I started as a shop attendant. Over the years, I advanced through various roles, including cashier, fore attendant, and eventually became the station supervisor after serving in those positions for over 10 years. But I reached a point where I wanted more — I wanted to grow, learn new things, and see what else I could become.

That’s when I discovered Minzo Africa. I was the only female among the applicants who was selected for their training program, and I’m proud of that. Joining Minzo was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ve learned so many new skills, like data entry, Book editing, Video editing, and how to manage government contracts. Every day at Minzo is a chance to grow — the learning never stops.

Minzo Africa didn’t just help me grow professionally — it changed my life financially and emotionally. Today, I can earn good money and take care of myself. I now receive weekly pay, have access to paid maternity leave, paid vacation, and even retirement savings. These are things I never thought I would have — and now I do, thanks to Minzo. The stability I’ve gained here has given me hope, confidence, and a real sense of purpose.

After months of hard work and commitment, I became a full-time employee and am now proud to say I am the first female manager at Minzo Africa. I carry that title with honor and responsibility.

Outside of work, I am deeply committed to my family and my community. I love giving to others, especially women and children, and I believe in helping them realize their own strength and potential — just as I was given the chance to realize mine.
